It doesn't matter whether it's the ever-increasing UV radiation due to climate change or the constant wind in the Vienna Basin – the wooden surfaces are always under heavy strain.
I start the renovation by completely sanding down the entire surface to create a weight-bearing surface. Depending on the original glaze (thin or thick layer glaze, solvent-based or water-based), I impregnate the surface and then glaze the wood in two layers. I apply everything with a brush (no machine), which guarantees a better penetration into the wood fibers and thus longevity.
This gives your wooden house a coherent, new look and the protection of the wood is guaranteed in the long term.
